The Performing Arts Team can use their creative artistic inspiration to take the Existential Robot in a direction that exceeds the limitation of the hardware and software implementation to explore futuristic ideas of how the machine may find its destiny.
The Performing Arts Team can examine examine the science fiction play R.U.R., written in 1920 by the Czech writer Karel Capek. R.U.R., which stands for Rossumovi Univerzalni Roboti was translated to English as Rossum's Universal Robots, and this is the origin of the word Robot.
The Performing Arts Team can also create its own play based on the idea of:
1) The making of the machine;
2) The machine learning;
3) The machine in society doing work for other people;
4) The machine having an identity crisis; and,
5) What happens next?
The Performing Arts Team can also assist the Music Team in creating a music video, or assist the Media Team in creating segments of the documentary.
The Performing Arts Team should work with an educator to select one area, identify a problem statement, and then create their plan to explore that statement.
