The media team can focus on creating a documentary about the program. This can be as simple as one student with a cell phone, an iPad and iMovie, or as sophisticated as the team would like it to be. The most important point to be made here is that there is no right way, nor wrong way, to do this.
The media team will be creating "Existential Robotics" sponsored by NeurSciences LLC, as a documentary exploring machines that have to find their own purpose in life. The media team cannot include other works of art protected by copyright law without approval from the copyright holder. This includes music; lyrics; sheet music; artwork; clips from moves; audio tracks; scripts written by others; and so on. If in doubt, check it out.
Alternatively, or in conjunction therewith, the media team can work with
the music team to create a music video. In this capacity, the music
team focus is a create the lyrics and scene for a music video related to
a machine that must fine its own destiny. The team has prepared a story
line comprising:
1) the making of a machine;
2) the machine learning about the work and how to fit in;
3) the machine doing work for other people;
4) the machine having an existential crisis; and,
5) the hook.
